Frances Janie Lopez of Greeley (formerly of Phoenix, Arizona), born October 10, 1931, passed away on April 3, 2026. She died peacefully at Fairacres Manor, with her family and caregivers present.

Auntie Frances was the sunniest person you would ever encounter. She greeted us with smiles, hugs, and laughter. Aunt Frances was the epitome of a joyful spirit. During her time at Fairacres Manor, she loved and appreciated all the employees, volunteers and hospice employees who visited with her. She loved meeting people and making new friends. Aunt Frances was the most loving person you would ever meet. She never met a stranger. Her bubbly personality made her stand out in her community, and she will be deeply missed.

Aunt Frances is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins residing in Colorado, California, Washington, Utah, and Oregon.

Aunt Frances is proceeded in death by her mother Maria Duran Lira, Father, Jesus Lira, brothers Joseph C. Lira, Henry Lira, and sisters Audelia DeHerrera, Isabel Cruz-Purcella.

Arrangements by Northern Colorado crematory in Greeley, Colorado. She will find her resting place next to her husband Robert Floyd Lopez at Greenwood Memory Lawn cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona.
