Michael Allen Dissette

On Monday May 25th at 10:30am Michael Allen Dissette succumbed to respiratory failure. His brother Mark Dissette and his wife Linda were with him when he passed.  Godspeed Michael. Your life was rife with addiction and madness. You always joked about your initials MAD and you lived that madness. From mental illness to double amputation you embraced it. You celebrated living on the streets and stated that you enjoyed it, it was fun. You created havoc and hurt more people than I can count. We all cried too many tears for you. Your life was shaped by mental illness and we didn't understand those shapes. You're mind is finally at rest. Paranoid schizophrenia, schizo-effectvie disorder bi-polar manic depressive disorder alcohol, drug dependency. Not a moments peace. Hopefully there was some happiness. Goodbye my brother. No matter how we all bloodied each other physically or emotionally we still loved you.

Michael is preceded in death by his father Grant Dissette, step mother Doris Dissette sister Lynn Marie Dissette and brother Steven Dissette. He is survived by his brother Gary Dissette sister in law Judy Dissette their son Benjamin all of Huntsville, Alabama. His brother Mark Dissette his wife Linda Dissette of Aurora, Colorado and Laurel Dissette his niece. His step family Russell and Randy Pollard and Nikki Michael. Micheal also had a daughter Aurora, we do not know her location but send her our love.
