Michael Warren McMillen

October 29, 1983 - June 08, 2026

Michael Warren McMillen was born to Christine Williams and Patrick McMillen on October 29, 1983 at NCMC in Greeley, CO and he passed away on June 08, 2026. Michael was educated in the Greeley schools and received a GED. In many ways, he was a typical young man who loved playing Little League football and baseball. He excelled at entertaining his family with his ever-present humor, and was immensely proud of his big sister Jessie Ann.

Michael had one child, Franki Rose Marie McMillen. His love for Franki knew no bounds. It would be impossible to overstate just how powerfully their relationship shaped Michael's view of the world.

He was quick to help his friends when they needed a hand. He loved the beauty of the world around him, especially the beauty that he saw in nature. One of his favorite things to do was gather a friend or two or three and drive up to Pingree Park and camp next to the river.

Michael came from a family of musicians and his love for music was evident at an early age. He was a member of several bands. and enjoyed the companionship of his bandmates as much as he enjoyed the music that they would create together. He continued to write music right up until the end of his life.

Michael will be remembered by his family and friends as a kind, sensitive and gentle soul. He was a genuine free spirit who marched to his own beat.

Michael is survived by his daughter Franki McMillen, his mother Christine Williams, his father Patrick McMillen, his sister Jessie Williams, his sister Valerie Michalak, his paternal grandmother Norma McMillen, his maternal grandmother Susan Zuber-Chall, his devoted partner Ren Dobelis, his uncle Michael G. McMillen, and his nieces and nephews Jordyn, Lochlan, Silas and Adaira Templeman, his wonderful cat South E, and a host of friends and extended family.

He is now at peace and is pain free.

A celebration of Life will be held on June 27th at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Greeley located at 2101 16th Street with a reception to follow.
