Skylar Fox
Beloved Son, Brother, Husband & Father It is with profound sorrow and hearts heavy with grief that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Skylar Fox — a man who lived with a passion, laughter, generosity and warmth that left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. The world feels quieter without him, and the hole he leaves in the lives of those who loved him cannot be measured.
Skylar was the devoted and loving husband of Catlin, his partner and the center of his world. Together they built a life full of love and laughter, and Catlin's loss is immeasurable. He was a proud and devoted father to his cherished child, Harlyn, for whom he would have moved mountains without a second thought. Skylar was a fiercely loyal son to his beloved parents, Heather and Heath Curry and Terry Fox. Their love shaped him into the man he became — strong, dependable, and full of life. He is also lovingly survived by his siblings, Jacob Fox and Heath Curry Jr., who knew better than anyone the force of nature that was their big brother. He was invincible.
Skylar was the kind of person you can’t forget. If you met him, even once, you fell in love with his outgoing and passionate personality. His personality filled every room he walked into. He loved hard and played hard, bringing an unmatched energy and joy to everything he did. Whether it was cracking a joke that had everyone laughing or stepping in quietly for a friend in need, Skylar showed up completely and without hesitation. He was the first to lend a helping hand and could always be counted on in a time of need. No call went unanswered, no friend was left to struggle alone. His generosity was not born of obligation, it came naturally, from a heart that was genuinely large. He was, in the truest sense of the word, dependable.
A hardworking man through and through, Skylar took pride in everything he did. Throughout his career he built lasting friendships with those he worked alongside, and those bonds were a testament to the kind of coworker and person he was. He is someone who earned respect not by demanding it, but simply by being himself. Skylar Fox was taken far before his time, and the world is a lesser place for his absence. But the love he gave to his wife, his child, his parents, his siblings, his extended family and his countless friends does not disappear with him. It lives on in every life he has touched. It is with love and an immense amount of sadness that we say goodbye to the amazing man that you were!
Forever in our hearts.
