Dennis Joseph Salvo

Dennis Joseph Salvo, an art gallery owner and lifelong R&B, Soul and Jazz music enthusiast, died in Walnut Creek on October 9, 2022 at John Muir Hospital. He was 77. Born in San Francisco to Bessie and Joseph Salvo, his family moved to Lafayette when he was 4. With his love of rhythm & blues, soul and jazz from an early age, Dennis studied broadcasting at San Francisco State and continued his keen interest in live and recorded music throughout his life. Visiting wilderness destinations, he developed an interest in wildlife art which led to his opening Pacific Wildlife Galleries in Lafayette in the 70s and publishing limited edition prints as Wolf Creek Editions. Dennis is survived by his brother Kenneth, and will be missed by his many friends. Private interment. Private Interment
