Glenda Fay Loureiro passed away peacefully in her sleep after a brief courageous battle withcancer. Loving mother and devoted wife, married for 69 years to a wonderful loving and supportivehusband. She touched so many lives with her infectious smile, inspiring can do attitude, sense ofhumor and graceful dance moves. Family gatherings brought so much joy to her life. Glenda was anamazing woman who embodied the best of qualities her unconditional love, strength of spiritunending generosity that could be seen in the way she took care of her family and countless otherswho were blessed to have known her. Her passing comes as a great shock and deep wound to ourhearts, and it is gravely felt by those who knew and loved her.
Glenda was born in Bruce Mississippi, 1 of 7 children and moved to California at the age of 7. Anatural at everything she did from sewing, cooking, and raising 7 children. Anyone who knew herremembers the fun Halloween, Christmas, and New Years parties she hosted where she dancedthe night away. She enjoyed music in the park with her family and friends.Strong and mighty, our dancing Queen.
Glenda is survived by her loving husband, Bernard devoted children Kim (Ioane) of Concord, Cathy(Jeff) of Martinez, Sue (Craig) of Omaha NE, Chris (Kat) of Plumas Lake, Starla (wife of predeceasedFrank) of Martinez, Jeanette (predeceased) Theresa (predeceased) (Fred predeceased)grandchildren, Tami (Andrew), Brian (Carolyn), Michael (Amy), Michelle, Telah, Troy, Tyler, Anika,Shannon, Justin, Brandon (Lindsey), David, Shaun (Angela), and Kyle, Ben, brother Dane of Nevada.Great grandchildren Elizabeth, Mathew, Ashley, and Caleb,and many nieces, nephews’ family, and friends.
