Andres "Juny" Garcia, 61, of Haines City, FL passed away on May 27, 2025 at AdventHealth Heart of Florida.

Born on August 14, 1963 in the Bronx, NY to Andres Garcia and Liduvina Fernandez. Andres later joined the Air Force where he dedicated and served 11 years to his country. During his service, he was awarded numerous decorations, including the Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Overseas Service Short Tour Ribbon with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, NCO Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon, and the Air Force Training Ribbon. After his service, he worked with the Department of Transportation in NY as a communication specialist, retiring in 2020. In February 2025, Andres moved from the Bronx, NY to Florida to enjoy his retirement. He was of the Catholic faith.

Andres was a hard worker with punctuality as his obsession. He was a devoted husband, father, and son, always helping and caring for others. Known for his romantic gestures, he often surprised his wife with flowers and was a father figure to his nephews and niece. He was kind-hearted, sociable, and cherished by many. His passions included fishing, biking, cooking (especially barbecuing), and he had a deep love for the beach and ocean.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Liduvina, and his sister, Ileana Garcia. Andres leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 34 years, Rosana Garcia; son, Matthew Liao-Garcia of the Bronx, NY; daughter, Susan Liao-Garcia, and her boyfriend, Kennett Rivera of the Bronx, NY; as well as his beloved fur babies: his dog, Bessy; his cat, Tiggy; and his daughter's turtle, Turquoise.

A funeral Mass to celebrate Andres' life will be held in New York. His cremains will be buried following the service.
