In Loving Memory of David Scott Mills

David Scott Mills, 44, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, surrounded by loved ones after an unexpected medical event. Born October 9, 1981, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Stephen Lester and Kathryn Louise Keate Mills. He found comfort and purpose in his faith, especially in life’s challenging moments.

David had a deep love for creativity and expression. As a filmmaker and photographer, David had a special talent for capturing moments through his lens. He spent nearly twenty years working for Blue Man Group, a role he absolutely adored and one that allowed him to be surrounded by the artistry and imagination he loved.

He also enjoyed watching movies, traveling, discovering new cuisines, building LEGO sets, visiting theme parks, and spending time with animals, especially his dogs, Snuggles, Scout, and Ripley.

Known for his kindness, David treated everyone with warmth and respect. He was beloved by all who knew him, always upbeat, engaging, and full of life. Loyal, hardworking, and genuine, David was a great man, an excellent son, and a devoted husband who took loving care of his wife.

He was funny, quick-witted, and a gifted writer who authored several films. To many, David was not just a friend, but their best friend. A devoted sports fan, he proudly supported the Las Vegas Golden Knights and the San Francisco 49ers.

David leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Rebekka Jeanne Mills; his parents, Stephen and Kathryn Mills; his parents-in-law, Jerry and Patty Fogle; his brothers, Brian Mills and his wife Marixa, and Robert Mills and his wife Katherine; his nieces and nephews, Lily, Mia, Cooper Jack, Eva, Piper, and Kenzie Mills; and his lifelong best friends, Sean Brooks and Gavan Burke.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. all at Oak ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, FL.
