His family was his number one priority, and he loved spending time with them as well as playing with his grandchildren. He was known as a hard worker, a very giving person that would help anyone in need. Gustavo was always checking in with his daughters to see what they were up to and how his grandkids were doing everyday. When he had his family together, he truly enjoyed their food and making BBQ’s. Gustavo moved to Florida 40 years ago from Colombia, and after working hard for so many years, he started his own and operated his business for 15+ years. He was never a quitter. He would always push his daughters to be the best and never give up and never settle for less. It was said that he was the life of the party, a jokester and that his favorite food, were morcilla and chicharron. Gustavo enjoyed road trips in his RV, watching movies, bon fires and listening to music, like Vallenatos. His favorite song that always played “Los Caminos De La Vida.” In addition, he was an avid outdoorsman who had a passion for fishing, farming, canoeing, and going to the beach.
