In Loving Memory of June Farmer

June Farmer of Haines City, Florida passed away on February 17, 2026, with her family by her side. She was 84 years old. She was born on September 20, 1941, in Monette, Arkansas to Dale and Katherine Blankenship Pate and moved to Haines City from Arkansas in 1958.    

After retiring from a long and successful career from Winn Dixie and The School Board, June enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and making trips to the hunting cabin in Alabama. She loved the outdoors.  

She was predeceased by her parents, Dale and Katherine; her husband, Jimmy A. Farmer; siblings, Sara Byrd, Linda Teague, Dannie Pate and Ann Pate. June is survived by her daughters, Sareta Mayes and her husband, Larry of Haines City, Dena Scarborough and her husband, Roger of Haines City; son, Jimmy D. Farmer and his wife, Laura of Haines City; brother, Blann Pate and his wife, Martha of Abbeville, Alabama; grandchildren, Jessica, Holly, Jeremy, and Jacob; great grandchildren, Summer, Autumn, Dallas, Liberty and Fischer; great-great granddaughter, Wrenley as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
