Lorraine Richardson
October 16, 1957 — January 23, 2026
Lorraine Richardson, 68, of Davenport, Florida, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026, surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was born on October 16, 1957, in Stockport, United Kingdom, to Bernard and Jane Booth. Lorraine moved to Davenport on October 6, 2001, from Ulgham, United Kingdom. She was self-employed and proudly referred to herself as a “Lady of Leisure.” Lorraine was of the Christian faith.
Lorraine had a deep love for life and all the beauty in it. She especially enjoyed Disney cruises, and traveling. She adored animals of all kinds, particularly birds, filling her garden with birdhouses and had a special love for dogs and horses. Lorraine dearly loved her late dog, Lilly, and her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with her now. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family and her beautiful grandchildren who she was so proud of. Lorraine sparkled in every room she entered. She was outspoken, opinionated, firm, and fiercely loving. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met and was truly one of a kind.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Jane Booth. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 50 years, Ginner Richardson; her daughters, Joanne Stewart and her husband Paul, of Davenport, Florida, and their children Evie Mae Stewart and Emmie Rose Stewart; Vicki Gillis and her husband Gary, of Davenport, Florida, and their children Grayden Gillis and Lucy Richardson and great grandson, Zorian Richardson.
