In Loving Memory of Luis Regus Jr.

Luis Regus Jr., 61, of Davenport, FL, passed away on December 6, 2024, at his residence. He was born on July 28, 1963, in New York, New York, to the late Luis G. Regus and Barbara Travenson. Luis was lovingly raised by his grandmother, Irma Araujo Regus, who was like a mother to him. He moved to Florida in 2001 from North Bergen, NJ. He worked as a project manager for Terry's Electric and was of the Catholic faith.

Luis lived life to the fullest, embracing his love for fishing, cooking, music, and relaxing at home. He was an avid sports fan and, in his younger years, enjoyed playing basketball.

Luis is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Solveig; sisters, Yvette Dermatis and her husband, Demetrios, along with their children and grandchildren; Donna Jaworski and her husband Chris, along with their children; and a large circle of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following at 1:00 p.m., all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, FL. His final resting place will be Evergreen Cemetery in Davenport, FL.
