Melvin D. Beyer

DAVENPORT - Melvin D. Beyer, 69, died Tuesday, November 2, 2015 in Orlando. He was born March 13, 1946 in Buffalo, NY to Franklin and Ruth (Preusch) Beyer. Mr. Beyer served in Vietnam War for the United States Army. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Haines City and worked as an IT Manager for Disney and also in the banking industry. He is survived by his wife Patricia Mulligan; sons David (Liz) Beyer of Ocoee and Michael (Jen) Beyer of Orlando; daughters Amy Beyer of Ocoee and Mary (P.J.) Mora of Ocoee; brothers Leon and Loren Beyer; sisters Ruth Allen, Lynn Domanowski and Loretta Felder; and 7 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Alma Beyer. A Gathering of Friends will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 from 6-8PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10AM at Faith Lutheran Church in Haines City.
