Petra D. Ortiz Beltran

Petra Dedubina Ortiz Beltran, aged 87, passed away on November 25, 2025 in Auburndale, Florida. Born on April 14, 1938 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to Martha Beltran and Eustaquio Ortiz. She was the last survivor of her three siblings. She and her husband, Evangelista Gonzalez, raised two children. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carmen Gonzalez, and her husband, Evangelista Gonzalez. She is survived by her son, Jesus Manuel Gonzalez, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Petra ran a restaurant for over 15 years and loved cooking for others. She loved gardening flowers, especially orchids. She also enjoyed sewing, crafting, and painting in her free time. 

Petra will always be remembered for the immense love she held for her family and loved ones. We couldn’t have asked for a better mom, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. We will miss her every day and her memories will live on in our hearts forever.
