William "Morris" McMillen of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Lakeland Hospice House. He was 88. A native of Lincoln, Tennessee, born December 20, 1928 to John and Lousise Whitsett McMillen, Morris has been a long time resident of this area. He was a retired Irrigation Specialist around the county, working with McIver's Irrigation, and Aquaman Irrigation of Lake Wales. He was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War, and he was a member of the Winter Haven Church of God. Morris was preceded in death by his sons Gerald and Paul McMillen. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Betty J. McMillen; his sons: Michael McMillen (Jennifer), and Kenneth McMillen, both of Auburndale, FL; his daughter: Marsha Enfinger (Eddie) of Winter Haven, FL, and his brother Bobby McMillen of Tennessee. Morris also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, May 22, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park.
