In Loving Memory of Dennis Cavalluzzo

November 26, 1949 – June 14, 2025

Dennis Cavalluzzo, a devoted husband, proud father, loving grandfather, and lifelong Yankees fan, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025. Born on November 26, 1949, and raised in College Point, New York, Dennis lived a life rooted in family, tradition, and unwavering loyalty.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Carmine and Anna Cavalluzzo, and his cherished wife, Patricia Ann Cavalluzzo, with whom he shared a deep and enduring love.

Dennis is survived by his son Christopher Cerrato and his fiancée Halie, and his daughter Barbara Magness and her husband Michael. He was the proud grandfather of Raymond Cannizzaro, Anastasia Cerrato, Julius Cerrato, Billy Morgan, Chris Cerrato, and Luke Morgan. He also leaves behind his dear sister Patricia Czarnecki and many extended family members and close friends who will forever hold his memory close.

Dennis had a big heart and an even bigger presence. He loved his grandchildren fiercely and never missed an opportunity to be there for them — whether in the stands, at family dinners, or simply with a word of encouragement. His loyalty to the New York Yankees was only matched by his dedication to those he loved.

Though he may no longer be with us, his legacy lives on in the stories, laughter, and love shared by his family. He will be missed beyond measure.

Details regarding services and a celebration of life will be shared soon. In the meantime, the family invites you to honor Dennis by remembering the joy he brought to all who knew him.
