Edith Jessica Bridgemon

Edith Jessica Bridgemon, 89, of Auburndale, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, at Good Shepherd Hospice Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale. She was born on November 24, 1935, in Nauvoo, Alabama, to the late Paul and Nervie Hallmark Byrd.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Christine Booth and Linda Sue Brown. She is survived by her brother, Jerry Byrd (Sandra) of Frostproof, Florida; nieces Julie Nichols of Auburndale, Wanda Gail of Frostproof, Betty Spigelmeyer of Auburndale, and Donna Sullivan of Eagle Lake; and nephew Billy Byrd of Winter Haven.

Edith lived a full life, touching the hearts of many with her kindness and warmth. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held in Jasper, Alabama, with burial to follow at Busby Cemetery in Nauvoo, Alabama. The family invites all who knew Edith to join them in celebrating her life and legacy.
