Grace Kadakampallil Mani

Grace Kadakampallil Mani, lovingly known as Grace, entered her heavenly abode on July 24, 2026, in Haines City, Florida, at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of Subramanian Mani and a cherished mother, grandmother, relative, and friend. Grace is survived by her devoted husband; her daughters, Maya Mani and Gita Kumar; her sons-in-law, Balakrishna Bangalore and Siri Kumar; her granddaughters, Neya and Lekha; and countless extended family members and dear friends who held her in the highest regard and loved her deeply. Affectionately called Gracie Kochamma, Gracie Aunty, and many other tender names, she was adored by all who knew her. Grace was a wonderful, charismatic, intelligent, and beautiful soul who radiated love, joy, and warmth to everyone she met. Her gentle presence, gracious spirit, and remarkable ability to bring smiles to others will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed.

Grace was born on November 17, 1938, and baptized in Trivandrum, India. From a young age, she carried a deep passion for service and devoted herself to the healing profession. Through determination and perseverance, she pursued her education in nursing and healthcare, eventually serving tirelessly as a registered nurse in Michigan. Her calling later took her to Saudi Arabia, where she met her beloved husband and soulmate, Subramanian Mani. They were married in Bahrain and later moved to Kuwait, where they lovingly raised their two daughters. In 1986, the family moved to the United States, where Grace continued her lifelong passion for caring for others by advancing her nursing credentials and serving with dedication at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Throughout her career, she touched the lives of countless patients with compassion, kindness, and dignity, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and friends. In later years, Grace and her beloved husband settled in Haines City, Florida, where they enjoyed their golden years together. There, she lovingly tended to her favorite mango and guava trees, nurturing them with the same tenderness she shared with everyone around her.

Mummy embraced life in all its seasons—with joy, strength, grace, and unwavering love. Through moments of happiness and hardship alike, she faced each chapter with courage and an open heart. Her life was a beautiful testament to faith, service, family, and compassion. Please join us as we celebrate the remarkable life and enduring legacy of our dearest Mummy, whose love will remain forever in our hearts.

A visitation and viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00am at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, W. Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, FL 33881. Prayers and cremation will follow.
