Martha Smith, 91, of Lake Alfred, Florida passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, in Winter Haven, Florida, at the age of 91.

Born on October 15, 1934, in Arcadia, Florida, Martha lived a life rich in love, loyalty, and laughter, which touched all who were lucky enough to know her. Throughout her life, Martha was known for her honesty and unwavering loyalty to her family and friends. Her energetic spirit shone brightly in everything she did. A lover of simple pleasures, she cherished outings to diners, particularly her favorite spot, the Lake Alfred Diner, where she enjoyed the company of loved ones over a meal. Bingo was another source of joy for Martha, and she was always eager for a spirited game or a long chat on the phone.

Martha is preceded in death by her son, Robert Kamp. She is survived by her daughters, Martha (Alfonzo) Gonzalez, Linda (Leon) Rosas, Yvonne (Gerardo) Gonzalez, and Diane Gomez; son, Carl Vegan. She also opened her heart to her daughter-in-law, Pam. A proud matriarch, she delighted her twelve grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Martha leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and an indomitable spirit that will continue to inspire her family and friends. As we remember Martha, we honor her love for life, her unwavering devotion to family, and her zest for every day.
