Ricardo Bautista Ramirez

Ricardo Uzai Bautista Ramirez, lovingly known as “Chad” by his closest friends and family, passed away on April 29, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply. Originally from Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, Ricardo spent much of his life moving throughout different states before spending the last 14 years in Lakeland, Florida. 

Along the way, he built lifelong connections everywhere he went through his warmth, humor, creativity, and welcoming spirit. Ricardo was truly a kid at heart. He had a way of making people feel comfortable, seen, and included no matter who they were. Above all else, Chad was a loving father. His three beautiful children were the center of his world and the greatest source of pride and joy in his life. As the big brother to his three sisters, Ricardo brought a playful spirit into the family that always reminded them of their childhood. 

Ricardo was passionately creative and deeply artistic. Photography, videography, and working with his hands were more than hobbies to him, they were extensions of who he was. He saw the world differently. Through his art, his ideas, and his vision, he brought beauty and emotion into everything he created. Outside of his creativity, Ricardo loved music, hot chicken wings, and Dr.Pepper. Small things that the people closest to him will forever smile about when they think of him. 

Ricardo is survived by his beloved children and their mother; his parents; his three sisters; cousins who meant the world to him; extended family; and countless friends who loved him dearly. Those who knew Ricardo will remember his creativity, his heart, his humor, and the way he made people feel welcomed. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he left on the people who loved him will continue for generations. Ricardo “Chad” Bautista Ramirez will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered.
