Brian Lee Hawks, 42, of Forsyth County, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

Brian was loved by many and curious about everything. By the age of five, if he could get some tools in his hands, he could disassemble bicycles or car doors. He could help anyone fix anything! He became well versed in all aspects of building homes. After rigorous State testing, Brian obtained his NC Plumber’s license. He then served as Regional Manager with Blue Chip Plumbing. During his time there he approved work performed by other plumbers that covered the Raleigh and Charlotte area. His work ethic was highly recommended. Brian loved cooking on his grill. He enjoyed preparing dinners for his mother while playing any music that she requested. Brian would spoil his nieces any chance he could with candy and junk food. Some of his best memories were made at his father’s home in Walnut Cove. There he would spend time with his family, bond with Dixie (his dad’s horse) and eat delicious food followed by a margarita (or two). May his soul rest in peace. His strong-willed spirit will stay in our hearts forever. Farewell and Godspeed during his journey on the other side <3 

Survivors include his father, Terry Lee Hawks; mother, Jo Hamersly; sons, Dallas Cox and Maverick Hawks; daughter, Haley Hawks; sister, Amy Hawks Grubbs; and brother, Edward “Eddie” Hawks.
