David Mayo Hilbun, 82, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021.
He was born in Roanoke, VA to the late Mayo and Madge Hilbun and was preceded in death by his brother Jeffery Lewis Hilbun.
He was a devoted husband of 58 years and found such great joy in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Not only was he a devoted family man, but an avid baker of bread and used this passion as an outreach to others in his church and community.
He is survived by his loving wife Judy E. Hilbun; his sons, Christopher and Timothy, and their wives Teressa and Melissa; a sister, Ellen Jane Steele and husband Claude; grandchildren, Thomas, Amy, Emily, Katy and Gil; and 7 great-grandchildren, McKayla, Sarah, JJ, Sarah, Olivia, Finn and Ansley.
