Dennis Chase Wilkerson, Sr., 86, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2024.

A native of Guilford County, NC, Dennis was the husband of the late Betty Jean Westbrook Wilkerson and the son of Dennis Young Wilkerson and Chase Rees Wilkerson, both deceased. 

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Wilkerson; sons, Dennis Wilkerson, Jr. and wife, Benedita, and Chris Wilkerson and wife, Lindsey; grandchildren, Caitlin James, Joshua Wilkerson, Kira Wilkerson, Ethan Wilkerson, and Reagan Wilkerson; and great granddaughter, Heaven Cauthren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his grandson, Travis James.

A memorial service celebrating Dennis’ life will be held at 6:00PM Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Janet Dixon officiating. The family will greet friends following the service in the chapel.
