Donnie Isley Thompson

Mrs. Donnie Isley Thompson, 80 of Efland, NC passed away peacefully at her residence Friday, December 13, 2019. A native of Alamance County, NC, Donnie was the wife of Curtis Max Thompson and the daughter of the late Frank Boyd Isley and Joy Dare Isley. Donnie was a retired Information Service Manager for an insurance company. She was a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church, Mebane, NC. Survivors include her husband, Curtis Max Thompson of the home; two sons, Jeffrey Solis and wife, Phyllis of Graham, NC, and Myron Solis and wife, Sarah of Kernersville, NC; sister, Pearl Stovall and husband, Lewis of Burlington, NC; and brother, F. W. "Bud" Isley of Snow Camp, NC. In addition to her parents, Donnie was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank "Whimp" Isley, and J. B. Isley. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Christian Church, 3210 Mt. Zion Church Road, Mebane, NC 27302 or to a charity of donor's choice.
