Frances Verble Southard, 85, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully Thursday October 15, 2020.
The family will gather for a private service with Rev. Roger Bailey officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday October 20, 2020 at Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC.
A native of Concord, NC Frances was the wife of the late Warren Verble, and the late Dewey Southard and was the daughter of the late John H. Wiley and Lola Coley Wiley. Frances found her joy serving the Lord, loving her family and teaching Sunday School to a Special Needs Class for over 34 years. She continued serving the Lord up to her last days in the Retirement Home helping others.
Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Gilmer and husband, Skip of Winston-Salem, NC, Pennie Brannock and husband, Nathan of Kernersville, NC, and Barbie Duggins and husband, David of Walnut Cove, NC; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly; one sister, Janie Wiley; and several beloved extended family members.
In addition to her two husbands and her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy O’Neil; and several brothers and sisters.
