Gail Annette Bauman
May 15, 1945 — July 12, 2025
In Loving Memory
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gail Annette Bauman, 80, on July 12th, 2025. Although her passing was sudden, she passed peacefully, surrounded by her family and listening to her favorite music, ABBA.
Born in Buffalo, NY on May 15th, 1945, Gail was the daughter of the late Irwin and Esther (Harnick) Weil. Gail was a devoted mother to Seth Bauman, and Jillian Barrows. She is also survived by Amanda Bauman and children, Owen, Marcus, Amelia; Brian Barrows and children, Brielle, Sydney, & Siena; and her significant other, Ron Stone; brother, Keith Weil; and sister, Sharon Campbell; and was a loving aunt to Jessica, Molly, Natalie, and Chris.
Gail will be remembered for her love of sailing, traveling, and baking stöllen (a German Christmas tradition). She had a vibrant personality and a self driven determination enabling her to achieve anything she set her mind to. Within her life time, she became a nurse, wife, mother, top seller for Discovery Toys, and top seller for Merck Pharmaceuticals. Her love of animals and her desire to give back to the community were very important to her. She spent 10 years with Max (her therapy dog) volunteering and bringing joy to others. Her inner strength helped her to provide for her family and to always be there for her children. Gail was the glue that held the family together and she loved planning many family reunions.
A celebration of Gail’s life will be at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service, 213 W. Mountain St. Kernersville NC 27284 on Saturday, July 26th at 11:00AM.
