Hilda Jean Moore

Ms. Hilda Jean Moore, 78, passed away on January 27, 2023 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A native of Winston-Salem, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Monedi Forrester Brown and wife of the late Bobby Moore. Hilda enjoyed getting together with the family for family gatherings and holidays. In her younger years, she enjoyed riding motorcycles. She also greatly enjoyed spending time at the beach. Hilda is survived by her children, Pam Templeton and husband, James, Robin Boggs, Donny Hartle, Susan Gardner, Tina Hartle, Terri Hartle, Lisa Marshall, Kim Williams and husband, Mike, Marcus Moore and wife, Tanya, Michael Moore, Rhonda Moreno, and Mitzi Moore; her many loving grandchildren; her brothers, Calvin Brown and wife, Diane, Dale Toliver and wife, Arna, Larry Toliver and Tammy, and Arnold Brown and wife, Delores; and her little dog, Chance. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Robert "Bob" Toliver and Dorothy "Dot" Clemmons, who was like a sister to Hilda. The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Kernersville Chapel on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 2:00PM -3:00PM. Graveside funeral services will follow the visitation at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory at 3:15PM with Larry Toliver officiating.
