Mr. John L. Everett, 78, of Greensboro, NC passed away peacefully Friday, September 9, 2022.
A native of Guilford County, NC, John was the son of Homer Everett and Allie Ozelle Nelson Everett, both deceased.
Survivors include his daughter, Tonya Everett Owens (Gene Stanley); son, John Everett; grandchildren, Kallie Hodgin (Mike), Mitchell Owens, and Brandon Everett; step-grandchildren, Taylor Collins (Kam), Jacob Stanley (Nikki); great grandchildren, Faith and Grady Hodgin; step-great grandchildren, Vallerie, Benji and Harrison Collins, Weston, Carson and Logan Stanley; and former wife and friend, Virginia Cummings.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by two sisters; one half sister; and two half brothers.
A time of service and visitation celebrating his life will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel.
