Jose Candelario Salinas Gonzalez Sr.

Tribucast Jose "Yayo" Candelario Salinas Gonzalez, 60, of Greensboro passed away on January 3, 2023 in Kernersville. A native of China, Nuevo León, Mexico, he was the son of the late Jose Maria Salinas Garza and Felicitas Gonzalez de Salinas. Jose is survived by his children, Felita Salinas, Gabriela Medel Salinas and husband, Juan Carlos Medel Torres, Stephanie Nicholson and husband, Sterling, Jose Candelario Salinas Jr., and Nicole Goolsby; his grandchildren, Roman and Rosalin Medel, Gavin Slomka and Zavier Goolsby, and expected soon Lily Kay Nicholson; his siblings, Sandra Quiñones and husband, Miguel, Samuel Salinas and wife, Armandina, and Sylvia "Nelly" Salinas; his special nieces, Nilda Lara and husband, Angel, and their daughter, Nelly; his close former spouses, Karen Salinas and Maria del Carmen Ceferino; and many other nieces, nephews and loving family. A celebration of life will be held at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service Kernersville Chapel, 213 W. Mountain Street, Kernersville, NC 27284 on January 14, 2023 at 2:00PM with Fr.
