Judy Ann Tymko
April 22, 1947 — July 13, 2022
Judy Tymko, 75, was born in Pawtucket, RI and was preceded in death by her parents, Cecile and Leo Plante. After graduating from Rhode Island College in 1969, Judy married Ed in Pawtucket, RI in 1970, a loving marriage that lasted 52 years. Judy and Ed moved to Winston-Salem, NC in 1971 where they raised their two sons, Kevin and Tracy. Judy returned to teaching until her retirement, which she spent enjoying her husband, kids, grandkids, and many friends.
Judy is survived by her husband, Ed; her sons, Kevin (Shannon), and Tracy (Allison); her grandchildren, Cooper, Madeline, and Brandon; and her sister, Eileen (Larry) Menard.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Judy’s name to Shepherd Center of Kernersville or Second Harvest Food Bank of Winston-Salem.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Winston-Salem on Tuesday, July 19th at 11 am. Concelebrants are Father Ed Sheridan and Father John Hanic. The family will receive guests at the church at 10 am.
