Leon Edward Cameron, 83, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away peacefully Thursday, December 31, 2020.
Graveside Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 11:00AM Monday, January 4, 2021 at Cypress Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cameron, NC.
A native of Cameron, NC, Leon was the husband of 52 years to the late Evelyn Lake Cameron and the son of the late Martin Hector Cameron and Magdalene Bass Cameron. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Leon was of service to his community through The Lions Club and East Penn Youth Association. He spent most of his career with AT&T as an Electrical Engineer. Leon enjoyed hunting and fishing, and will be most remembered for his humility and strong family values.
Survivors include his daughter, Shannon Cameron Ross and husband, Shawn of Columbia, MD; son, John Martin Cameron of Greensboro, NC; grandson, Conner Ross; sister, Mary McNeal and husband, Russell; and three brothers, Neil Cameron, Jim Cameron and wife, Sally, and Charlie Cameron and wife, Pat.
