Lois Marie Bullock Perdue

Lois Marie Bullock Perdue, 87, of Kernersville, NC passed away Tuesday October 13, 2020. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00PM Sunday October 18, 2020 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Jerry Gibbons officiating. Interment and committal service will be held by Dr. Jerry Gibbons 10:00AM Monday October 19, 2020 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. Lois was born to Rev. and Mrs. Robert L. Bullock and graduated from Marion High School in 1950 before marrying her beloved James Vernelle Perdue on November 10th that same year. The two quickly established roots in the Kernersville community, becoming chartered members of the Kernerseville Jaycees and longstanding members of the Kernersville Friends Meeting for over 60 years. She continued to call Kernersville home after retirement from her Operator duties at Western Electric Company and AT&T, enjoying her retirement years immersed in the community and all it had to offer. Though she was preceded in death by her husband and sons, she always showed such strength and love for life. She was an impeccable woman with immense faith, always full of vigor and of compassion. She will be dearly missed by her granddaughters, Nikki Perdue and Kristin Perdue; grandsons, Ryan Perdue and Justin Perdue; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Gavin, Peyton, June, Nathanael, Grayson, and Hayden.
