Madena Pace Mecum

Madena Anthelnette Pace Mecum, 92, of Winston Salem, N.C., passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Trinity Glen Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born, November 10, 1929, in Polk County, N.C., to the late Leroy Pace and the late Maud Yount Pace. Madena spent her working career as an administrator in the banking industry. She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Georgia Ann Mecum Smith. Left to cherish her memory are her son-in-law, Henry David Smith, Jr.; and numerous extended family and friends. A graveside service to celebrate Medina's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Mt. Gur Cemtetery in Kernersville, N.C. Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service- Kernersville Chapel is faithfully serving the Mecum family.
