Marvella Eleanor Jonas

Marvella Eleanor Jonas, 95 of Kernersville, NC, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 11, 2022. Marvella was born the daughter of Ralph and Gertrude VanBuren of O’neill, Nebraska. She was married to her husband Robert John Jonas,Sr for 75 years before his passing in 2019. She was a teacher and owner of a home child care where she influenced the life of many young children. She enjoyed time with her family, traveling and fishing. She is survived by her children Janet Martin and husband Glen, Robert Jonas, Jr and wife Wanda; grandchildren Anthony Jones, Malissa Lopez, Renee Jonas and Amber Jonas; brother and sister, Willard VanBuren and Wilma Buckles.
