Mary Margaret Hall

Mary Margaret Hall, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed peacefully at the age of 76 on October 30, 2021. She was born in England on February 28, 1945, to the late Francis Joseph and Annie Josephine Delaney. Mary is survived by her husband, George Joseph Hall; daughters, Charlotte (Patrick) Valente and Colleen Smith; son, George Francis Hall; brothers, Steven (A) Delaney and Jimmy Delaney; grandchildren, Crystal, Patrick, Vanessa, Austin and Evan; and grandnephew, Rom. Mary immigrated to Canada from England at the age of 7. She later moved to New York, where she married her husband, George, who she deeply loved. They were married for 53 years. Family was the most important thing in her life. She found joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren and vacationing by the ocean. Aside from being a homemaker, she enjoyed her work of buying and managing her rental properties. In the late stages of her disease, she was cared for by many who loved her. Thank you to all of Mary’s Angels that cared for and loved her everyday. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 3 from 5:00-7:00 and Thursday, November 4 from 5:00-7:00 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service, 213 West Mountain St., Kernersville, NC 27284. The funeral mass will be Friday, November 5 at 10:30am, officiated by Monsignor Marcaccio at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2210 N Elm Street, Greensboro NC, 27408. A reception will follow. After the reception, the burial will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery, 616 South Cherry Street, Kernersville, NC 27284.
