Melvin Littles

Melvin Littles was born to the late Sammy and Jannie Mae Littles in Bronx, New York. He departed this life on Sunday, September 26, 2021.
Melvin worked at the Westchester County Jail in Valhalla, N.Y. as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor for 14 years before moving to Kernersville, N.C.
Melvin was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, where he served as an usher. Before moving to Kernersville, he attended Church of St. Joseph in Yonkers, N.Y., where he was a faithful member.
He volunteered at the community food bank and at the church.
Melvin was a member of the Knights of Columbus for five years as a 4th degree guard, which he embraced his faith to help his family and community.
Melvin was preceded in death by his Mother Janie Mae Littles; a son Andre D. Wynn and two sisters Janet Littles and Wanda Littles; two brothers Sammy and Jimmy Littles.
Melvin leaves to cherish his memory Melissa Abdullah (fiancé of the home); Three step-daughters, Teresa Siler of Greensboro, N.C.; Annette Siler of Kernersville, N.C., Andrea Pickney of Newark, N. J.; Two step-sons; Miles Richardson of Exmore, VA; Michael Siler (Myrna) of Springfield, MA; and 25 grandchildren, 17 Great-grand. Seven sisters Lillie Mae, Patricia (James), Priscilla (Richard), Sodonna, Judy, Juanita, and Charlene and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
