Michael Kent Richards

Michael Kent Richards, 60, of Oak Ridge passed away on August 30, 2022 at his residence. A native of Wilson, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Ronald and Lucille (Gaye) Richards and husband of Paula Richards. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Paula Faith Swisher Richards; his two daughters, Taylor (Taylor) Sapp of Kernersville, NC and Logan (Willie) Trute of Stokesdale, NC; his grandchildren, Kensington Sapp and Haisley Trute; his sister, Lynne R. Petticord of Kernersville, NC; a brother-in-law, Jeffrey (Lisa) Swisher of Greensboro, NC; as well as his six step-children and three step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by by his brother, Kyle Richards. A private graveside funeral service will be at Mt. Gur Cemetery, Kernersville with interment to follow.
