Peggy McCracken Fulton

Kernersville, NC – Ms. Peggy McCracken Fulton, 75, transitioned to her new home on Thursday, April 9, 2026.   She was born on November 17, 1950, in DeKalb County, Georgia to the late D.A. McCracken and Mildred (Kelley) McCracken.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Wayne Fulton, her brother, Steve McCracken, and her sister, Patty McBride.

She enjoyed spending time with family, spending time with Jesus, journaling, and camping.  Peggy loved life, loved laughing, and serving her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Angie Coe (Tim), John Fulton, and Melissa Vestrat (Keith); grandchildren, Gabrielle, Tyler, Christopher, and Amelia; 5 brothers and 3 sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Via Healthpartners and especially all the caregivers that helped with Peggy’s care.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service, 213 West Mountain Street, Kernersville, NC.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 11:00 am at Wallburg Baptist Church, 5341 Wallburg Road, Winston-Salem, NC with Pastor Brandon Wolfe officiating.  Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Kernersville, NC.

In lieu of flowers, Peggy’s family request donations be made directly to Via Healthpartners, 3407 West Wendover Road, Suite D, Greensboro, North Carolina 27407.
