Raymond John Steele, 76, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully Thursday February 13, 2020.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Tuesday February 18, 2020 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Noah Carter officiating. The family will greet friends from 9:30AM to 10:00AM Tuesday at the church.
A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Raymond was the husband of Gail Finley Steele and the son of the late, Marshall Clayton Steele and Rita Mae Walters Steele. Raymond was owner operator of Gail’s Accents and a fervent contributor to Furniture Today. He retired from the furniture industry with over 50 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Gail of the home; daughter, Dawn Maxwell and husband, Terry Sewell of Shephard, TX; son, Derek Steele and wife, Jackie of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Megan, Sydney, Arthur, Jackson, and Olivia; great grandson, Dallas; and sisters, Cathy Degnan, and Debbie Dutill.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his brother, Marshall Steele.
