Rhonda Q. Bowling, 56, of Mebane, NC passed away surrounded by her loved ones, on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at ARMC, in Burlington.
A native of Alamance County, Rhonda was the wife of Robert J. Bowling, who preceded her in death. Rhonda worked as a Customer Service Representative for 1st Savings & Loan & Suntrust, for over 20 years. She was also a member of Phillips Chapel UMC and her church choir.
In addition to Robbie, Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Bobbie Quakenbush; brother, Don Long; and nephew, Jason Long.
Rhonda is survived by her brother, Jeff Quakenbush; her niece, Crystal Barker and husband, Frank; her sister-in-law, Windy Kirkman and husband Keith; and brother-in-law, Kery Ray II and wife Angie. She is also survived by her six nieces and nephews, Michael and Dawson Barker, Connor and Alexis Young, and Chloe and Madison Ray.
The funeral service will be held at Phillips Chapel UMC on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2:00pm. Visitation will begin at 12:45pm in the fellowship hall.
The family will receive friends and family at Rhonda’s home from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, November 12, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Phillips Chapel Memorial Association.
