Robert William Lankford

Robert William Lankford, 67, of Walkertown, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Born, March 10, 1954, in Stokes County, he was the son of the late John William Lankford and the late Velma Bowman Lankford. Robert was a retired auto body specialist, and loved Harley Davidson motorcycles. He is survived by his daughter, Maleia Knowles (Chris) of Walkertown; grandchildren, James Adams, Breydan Adams, Justice McKnight, Jace McKnight; sisters, Carol Allen, Judy Combs, Maxine Brewer (Emanuel), Lisa Caison (Kevin); brothers, John Lankford, Ronnie Lankford (Robin), Wiley Lankford, and Doug Lankford (Angie). Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in the chapel of Pierce Jefferson Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 6:45 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Way, Winston-Salem, NC, 27103.
