Terrance Lynn “Terry” Fulton, Sr., 72, of Frostproof, FL and Kernersville, NC went home to be with his Lord and Savior following a brief illness on Monday, April 19, 2021. A native of Forsyth County, he was the son of the late Nina Mae Barrow and John Fewell Fulton.
Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Triad Baptist Church with Rev. Rob Decker officiating. Interment will be at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, Kernersville, NC on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. The family will greet friends prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
He was born November 3, 1948 in Kernersville, NC. He was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. He retired from Roadway Express after thirty years of service. Terry was a member of both, First Baptist Church of Frostproof, FL and Triad Baptist Church in Kernersville, NC. He was an active member serving wherever possible from stuffing pillows to counting pennies. An avid golfer, he loved to laugh, tell a good story, sing karaoke, dance, and cheer on his granddaughters in academics or softball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years Ann Fulton, his brothers Wayne Fulton, Kenny Fulton and Ronnie Covington. Survivors include his son, Terrance “Lynn” Fulton, Jr. of Lewisville, NC; daughter, Lisa (James) Richter of Walnut Cove, NC; granddaughters, Laura (Sterling) Braithwaite and Anna Richter; great-grandson, Thomas, and one on the way; sister, Donna (David) Walker of Mt. Juliet, Tn; brothers Doug (Kathy) Covington of Winston-Salem, NC and Phil (Kim) Covington of Archdale, NC; step-mother Ruby Fulton along with many nieces and nephews.
