In Loving Memory:

Lindell “Lindy” Lane Kottcamp

August 5, 1973 – May 13, 2026

In Colorado, Lindy Kottcamp found the life she loved most: long walks with her family and dogs, open skies, and views of the plains stretching toward the mountains.

After growing up in Houston, Texas, Lindy eventually made Colorado home, living first in Aurora and later in Parker. She became a devoted mother to her three children, who were the center of her world and greatest source of pride and joy.

Lindy later earned a master’s degree in accounting and built a career through quiet determination and hard work. She loved books and movies, games and puzzles, growing plants in pots, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Though Colorado became home, she never lost her Texas roots, especially when it came to Rudy’s BBQ and great Mexican food. Calm, funny, and thoughtful, Lindy brought warmth, humor, and steadiness to the people around her.

For more than 12 years, Lindy faced recurring brain tumors through surgeries, treatments, and long recoveries, always finding her way back to the outdoors, her dogs, and the people she loved most.

Lindy passed away on May 13, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Davis Jr. and Dee Price.

She is survived by her children, Cassandra, Nicholas, and Benjamin; the father of her children, Brian Kottcamp; her sisters, Merrill Davis and Allison Hill; her stepmother, Priscilla Huston; her stepsister, Kate Lambert; her stepbrother, Penn Huston; her beloved dogs, Bear and Kipper; and many extended family members and friends who will remember her warmth, humor, and love for the life she built in Colorado.

A celebration of Lindy’s life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Millhouse at Philip S. Miller Park in Castle Rock, Colorado.
