Alva Lee Confer Jr.

Alva L. Confer Jr, 79 of Buckeye, AZ, formerly of Erie, left this world to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at The Home at Marley Park in Surprise, Arizona surrounded by loved ones.

Husband to Kate Confer (Mitchell) for 43 years, he is further survived by his four children; Brian Confer of Canandaigua NY, Kristin Rowe (Jeffrey) of Hagerstown, MD, Kevin Confer (Marcie) of Erie, and Erin Sheridan (Dan) of Buckeye, AZ, as well as 14 Grandchildren and four Great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Alva Sr. & Georgia Confer (Koonce) and beloved family pet Isaac.

Al was a graduate of Tech Memorial High School in 1965. He loved the Lord and was an active Parishioner at Desert Springs Community Church and spending time with family and friends.

He was a devoted family man and avid fan of Route 66, his Mustang convertible, Classic cars and Music, going to ballgames, and coffee, HE LOVED COFFEE.
