Frederick Dennis Miller
October 28, 1937 — March 25, 2026
It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Frederick Miller, a devoted veteran and beloved family member, and a cherished friend.
Frederick Was born on October 28, 1937, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Melvin and Irene Miller.
Frederick proudly served in the United States Military until 1978 and was a Vietnam veteran. His service to his country was a source of great pride, and he carried that honor with him throughout his life.
He will be remembered for his humorous disposition and quick wit, always able to bring a smile to those around him. His kindness, warmth, and genuine spirit touched the lives of many. He was the kind of person who made others feel welcome, valued, and loved.
Frederick Miller was deeply devoted to his family and friends.
He leaves behind: wife, Janice Miller; son, Dennis Miller; daughters, Deborah Watkins, Stephanie McNair, Karen Miller; grandchildren, Krysta Chester and Amber Miller; brother, Albert Miller; and sisters, Alice Cornell, Janice Frontaine, Joanne Turinese, Susan Moreau, who will forever cherish his memory and the many moments of laughter and love they shared.
He was preceded by: father, Melvin Miller; mother, Irene Miller; sisters, Irene Searle, Marilyn Charette; brother, Charles Miller; and grandson, Trave McNair Jr.
Though he may be gone from out sight, his spirit, laughter, and love will remain in our hearts forever.
A Graveside Service with Military Funeral Honors will be held from 9:00-9:30 AM, Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E. Pinnacle Peak Road, Phoenix, AZ.
