Jennifer Rousseau
July 17, 1985 — February 18, 2026
It is with deep sadness and a broken heart that my wife Robyn and I announce to our family and friends the passing of our daughter Jennifer Marie Rousseau who left this world suddenly in her sleep on February 18, 2026. Jennifer was born in Bellflower California on July 17th, 1985 to Arthur E. Rousseau Jr. and Glenda Mae (Hyde) Rousseau.
In her early years, Jennifer was a very happy little girl who loved school, riding her big wheel, and having tea parties with her daddy. She attended Elementary and Middle School in Warrensburg Mo. and later attended Desert Ridge High School in Scottsdale Arizona. Jennifer attended Arizona State University where she received her degree in Criminal Justice. She later worked for the City of Phoenix D.A.’s office, Executive Assistant at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department and the Maricopa County D.A.’s office. Jennifer had always wanted to be a Crime Scene Analyst but due to a car accident and a severe head and neck injury those dreams could not be fulfilled.
Jennifer loved to travel to see family and friends and to visit other areas of the country. Her passion was to cook and bake her specialty dishes, especially her pecan pie for her father. Jennifer also loved to play board games with her family and friends and watch TV series and the latest movies. She had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, which she had several during her lifetime with the latest being Little Lacy.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her Mother Glenda Mae Hyde who passed in January. She is survived by her Father-Arthur Rousseau and Step- Mother- Robyn Rousseau of Prescott, Arizona; Brother- Dave Rousseau of Vermont, Step-Sister Allison Artavia of Phoenix, Arizona, Step-Sister Michelle Hass of Huntington Beach, California, Step-Brother Phillip Artavia of University Place, Washington; as well as Aunts- Cathy Reagan of Fallon, Nevada, Jackie Michaud of Carmichael, California, Karen Proulx and Cheryl Arruda of Fall River, Massachusetts, Avanna Ribitzki of Glendale Arizona, Marie Hoover, Gaileen Lou; and Cousins- Cynthia, Marissa, Monica, Kerrie, and TJ. She also leaves behind her sweet dog Lacy.
Jennifer will be remembered for her kindness to others and her love for family, friends and her pets.
