Manuel Rios

Manuel Jesus Rios, returned home into the Loving Arms of Our Heavenly Father on January 31. 2014. Manuel fought a couragous battle to the end. Born in El Paso, Texas to Jesus(Chuy) and Manuela Rios. He was a 40 yr resident of Phoenix, Arizona where he retired from CED due to his health after 35 yrs of service. His dream to travel to Alaska became a reality this late August. Family was of importance to him, their well being and safety. Manuel is survived by his wife Bea of 37 yrs, sons Ricky and Rene Rios, daughters Jeannette Thomas, Marie Holguin, Christie Padilla and Cynthia Rios. Eighteen grandchildren and eight great grand children. Sisters Toni Prata and Lola (Dolores) Herrera. Nieces, Elizabeth, Erika and nephews John and Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Erica Rivera. Viewing will be this Friday, February 7th, 2014, 6:00pm - 6:45pm at the Sunburst Ward LDS Chapel at 5250 W.
