It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Herrera Cota, who departed this world on April 7, 2025, at the age of 56 in Phoenix, Arizona. Born on December 10, 1968, Robert graced the lives of many during his time with us, leaving behind a legacy filled with love and loyalty.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Rachel Cota. He is survived by his cherished daughters, Vanessa and Denee, along with his four brothers—Henry, Johnny, Raymond, Angel, and his three sisters, Armida, Esther, and Rosemary. He held a special place in his heart for his many nieces and nephews and will be missed by his loyal companion, Tucker, his devoted dog.

A proud graduate of Peoria High School, Robert possessed a passion for creativity that bloomed in his work. He was the author of the book "If Tomorrow Never Comes," a testament to his thoughtful insights and heartfelt reflections. In addition to writing, Robert embraced life’s simple pleasures. He loved to dig for gold, a pursuit that symbolized his adventurous spirit. His love for music extended beyond mere enjoyment; it was an integral part of his very being, and he delighted in playing the drums whenever he had the chance.

Described as a loyal and loving father, brother, and friend, Robert touched the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. His unwavering support and deep affection for his family and friends will be a lasting memory that they will cherish forever.
