Abel Molina
July 26, 1962 — May 21, 2026
Abel Molina, 63, of Rio Rancho, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026. He was born on July 26, 1962, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he spent his life surrounded by family, friends, and the mountains he loved so dearly.
Abel is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his parents, Crestela and Robert; his stepchildren, Christopher, Gloria, David, and Michael; his cherished grandchildren, Albert, Jacob, Gauge, Isla and his great-granddaughter, Lily. He also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and countless friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Yvette, and his brother, Harry.
Abel was a man who found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. He loved fishing and camping, spending time in the mountains, and sitting with family and friends sharing stories from his life, memories of the good times, and plenty of laughter along the way. Family meant everything to him, and the love he gave so freely will continue to live on through those who knew him best.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Wendy and all of the dialysis nurses at Fresenius for the compassionate care they gave Abel throughout his journey.
They would also like to thank Dr. Everett and the nurses on the 5th floor at Presbyterian Rust Medical Center for their kindness, support, and care.
As per Abel’s wishes, there will be no public services.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in the memories, laughter, stories, and love Abel leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
