Craig Hofmaster

Craig Hofmaster, age 77, of Albuquerque, NM passed away on June 4, 2026, after an arduous battle with Parkinsons and LBD. Most of Craig's closest friends are scattered across the country, so there will be no funeral services. 

Known as "Sugar Bear" in high school baseball, he enjoyed all sports and had played most. He ran marathon distances "for fun". Craig loved his family, Fay, wife of 56 years, daughters and their husbands: Carrie and Brian; Kate and Ryan, and most especially his granddaughters, Quinn and Tess. He is also survived by a brother Steve and sister Shari. Other passions were travel and pet dogs.

All who knew Craig will remember his quick wit and phenomenal ability to sell anything to anyone. Other favorites were college football and his birth state of Iowa. He had midwestern work ethics and values. He also served in the USCG Reserves during the Vietnam era.
